Valuska, Eötvös’s thirteenth opera is a tragicomedy with music or a grotesque opera
In the 2023/24 season, the Hungarian State Opera will present the first opera written in Hungarian by Péter Eötvös. The libretto was written by Kinga Keszthelyi and Mari Mezei based on the novel of László Krasznahorkai: The Melancholy of Resistance.
