Péter Eötvös’s opera Three Sisters received the Golden Mask Award in two categories.
The production of the Yekaterinburg company won the award for best opera performance and best direction. The author co-conducted his work with Oliver von Dohnányi. The performance, directed by Christopher Alden, was also seen by Moscow audiences at the Stanislavsky and Nyemirovich-Danzenko Theaters.
