Echo for Piccolo Trumpet and Organ belongs to the genre of musical, lyrical narratives. It is a personal and emotionally charged story set in the language of music. Its capacity for characterisation lies in the large-wave melodies of the solo instrument. The title ECHO refers to the resounding acoustics and open space created by the organ sound as if the narrator were reciting from the top of an elevation and the surrounding environment were echoing his voice.
The piece can be performed both in a concert hall and a church setting. (A performance in church lasts somewhat longer than in a concert hall.)

Az Echo című pikkoló trombitára és orgonára írott mű a zenei lírai elbeszélő műfajba tartozik. Érzelmes, szubjektív történet a zene nyelvén. Jellemző ereje a szólóhangszer nagy hullámokba formált melódiáiban található. Az Echo cím az orgonahangzás által megteremtett zengő akusztikára, nyitott térre vonatkozik, mintha az elbeszélő személy egy magaslatról recitálna és a környék azt visszhangozza.
A mű koncertteremben és templomi akusztikában egyaránt előadható.
(A templomi előadás időtartama valamennyivel hosszabb mint a koncertteremben.)

Echo für Piccolotrompete und Orgel gehört zum Genre der musikalischen, lyrischen Erzählungen. Es ist eine subjektive und emotionsgeladene Geschichte in der Sprache der Musik. Seine Charakterisierungsstärke liegt in den großwelligen Melodien des Soloinstruments. Der Titel, Echo, bezieht sich auf die schallende Akustik und den offenen Raum, der durch den Orgelklang entsteht, als ob der Erzähler von einer Anhöhe rezitieren würde und die Umgebung seine Stimme widerhallen ließe.
Das Stück kann sowohl in einem Konzertsaal als auch in einer Kirche aufgeführt werden.
(Die Aufführung in der Kirche dauert etwas länger als in einem Konzertsaal.)
