Since my childhood I have been interested in creating situations – interview with Peter Eötvös
Peter Eötvös is one of the most significant contemporary composers, not only in Hungary but also internationally. His works are regularly featured in the world’s most prestigious concert and theater halls, while he also works with Peter Eötvös Foundation, based in BMC, to help young composers and conductors. In this interview, amons others, he speaks about the role of litterature in his works, about human characters in musical instruments. He also answers to questions about how he works with his wife, Mari Mezei or how can composers and conductors be helped to find an individual voice and performance.
